Family finances should never be a barrier to quality child care. Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) understands the importance of affordable and accessible child care options for families in California. Several childcare financial assistance programs are designed to support families in need. If you live, work, or need care in Northern Los Angeles or San Bernardino Counties, you can get started today.

Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center
Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center is a private, non-profit corporation that operates under contract with California’s Department of Developmental Services. The Center serves over 9,000 children and adults with developmental disabilities, who have or are at risk for a developmental delay or disability, and who are at high-risk of parenting an infant with a disability.
If your child meets the qualifying criteria, you may be able to obtain fully subsidized daycare in our two-year-old program. Typically, Lanterman funding terminates on a child's third birthday, and a recommendation may be made to enroll your child in a program that specializes in their area of need, such as those provided by the public school system in Glendale.

Scholarships
We have a limited number of scholarships available each year, ranging from 10% to a maximum of 30% off our published tuition rates. Scholarships are awarded to families struggling to afford childcare and preschool programs. Scholarships are awarded each school year; families must reapply at each registration period. If you would like to apply for a Grandview House scholarship, please send a letter or email to Mrs. Lena Haiek, Center Director, describing your family's circumstances and needs. Please be as specific as possible. We may also require two years' tax returns and your most recent pay stubs (for both you and your spouse/partner, if applicable). The information provided will be held in strictest confidence. You will receive a decision within a week of receipt of your letter and tax returns.
